The FMGC (Fonderie Mécanique Générale Castelbriantaise), based in Loire-Atlantique and employing 420 people, is Europe’s leading manufacturer of cast-iron counterweights. The use of multiple tools made HR management complex: double entries were frequent and information circulated poorly within the company. FMGC set out to find a software solution that would enable efficient management of human resources and safety efficiently, with the aim of facilitating and digitizing HR management and saving time.

At FMGC, managing schedules is a complex task, since production teams work 2x8 shifts, night shifts and weekend shifts, and each production department has different schedules depending on the manufacturing process it is working on. This represents a total of over 80 schedules to manage.
